Welcome to InnerStrength Rehabilitation Services for Cancer Patients, Inc. Our purpose is to provide education, information and related products to health care and exercise professionals who care for cancer patients, as well as those individuals going through the cancer experience.
Our educational workshops provide a venue for the implementation of cancer rehabilitation programs into hospitals, clinics or wellness facilities. These workshops are offered in a number of formats to best meet the needs of participants and are eligible for continuing educational units.
We will also soon introducing our Exercise Mentor Series for Cancer which consists of a series of manuals of rehabilitative exercises for cancers across the cancer spectrum including breast cancer, prostate cancer, abdominal and blood related cancers. Other informational resources include links to articles, a cancer rehabilitation blog, FAQ's and to recommended sites. While not intended as a substitute for medical advice or treatment, they offer a basis for informed questions by patients to their physician about the implementation of specific exercise regimens for their recovery.
InnerStrength also provides rehabilitative products including therapeutic exercise bands and an accompanying DVD of exercises specific to the needs of the breast cancer population.
